Dr. M. Kelly Soutas received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1999 after completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. Dr. Soutas has a true passion for dentistry and is always looking to expand his knowledge through hundreds of hours of continuous education. He prides himself on staying on the cutting of edge of technology so that he can better serve his patients, striving to provide the highest quality dental care in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. He is known for his shots that don't hurt as well as his caring attitude about his patients!

Though Dr. Soutas loves all areas of dentistry, his passion is to create beautiful white smiles surrounded by pink healthy gums. He does this through many disciplines, including cosmetic, reconstructive and implant and laser dentistry. Perfection is what drives him!

Dr. Soutas is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, the Provo District Dental Society, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Dr. Dick Barnes Group.

A native of Utah, Dr. Soutas grew up in the Sandy Utah Area and currently lives in the Orem area. Dr. Soutas and his wife Beverly have six wonderful children. When not serving his patients at the office, Dr. Soutas enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, road-biking, running and going to the gym. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys fly-fishing and all the outdoor recreational activities that Utah has to offer.

Raquel has been a dental assistant for just under two years. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Mountainland Applied Technology College in 2008. Currently she is working towards a bachelor’s degree at Utah Valley University. Raquel was born and raised in Utah and loves all the outdoor activities the state offers. She enjoys getting to know patients and giving them personalized care.

Kellie Hamilton, RDH was born and raised here in her hometown of Mapleton, Utah. She is a registered dental hygienist here in the state of Utah and loves every minute of it. kellie looks forward to coming to work to interact and build relationships and friendships with both the staff and our patients. She also understands the importance of helping the patients feel more relaxed and comfortable so they can have a pleasant experience, along with that beautiful white healthy smile we all want.

In her spare time when not at the office she is busy chasing after her two beautiful children ages seven and three. she also enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with her husband of seven years.

Hi, I’m Jaynee, one of the chairside dental assistants here at A Place To Smile. I love working with such a great dental team and wonderful patients. I was born and raised in Springville, Utah and attended Springville High School. My schooling for dental assisting was completed at MountainLand Applied Technology College (MATC). I love being a dental assistant because I love to communicate and interact with patients which makes my work position fun and rewarding.

I've always believed in educating patients about their dental options so they can make their own choices. This is why I enjoy and respect working with Dr. Soutas because he will always give the patient the reigns.

In my spare time I enjoy all sports, specifically softball and have always been on a softball field year after year. I also enjoy the outdoors, going on horse rides, hanging out with family and friends, and going out to eat! (I love food). I have two fun dogs, Mocha and Kirby who patiently wait for me to get home after the day is done at the office!

Ruth grew up in San Pedro, CA, where she graduated from the Southern regional occupational center in dental assisting, she worked there as a dental assistant for about five years. She then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she started her family. She has two beautiful boys Casey who is now 18, and Cody 21. Ruth has been here in Springville for the last 13 years with her wonderful husband Jason and her two active boys, whom keep her very occupied.

When not juggling work and children Ruth likes to spend some of her free time doing arts and crafts and loves to play sports. Ruth also loves to cuddle with her Siberian husky Bonnie, who can always make her happy.

Ruth is very enthusiastic and loves the opportunity to build relationships, and friendships while attending to their dental needs and most importantly their wants.
